A hidden gem just minutes from Zephyrhills. Both trails are nicely maintained and well marked. They were dry so we were able to do them all, including the side trail that goes to the creek. The fields, forest and creek were so pretty. There was very little hog damage. Terrance the tortoise was very still as we slipped by and the red shouldered hawks were very vocal.

Beautiful park, TERRIBLE map. We arrived with about 2.5 hrs before sunset. The map showed a two mile loop and a four mile loop. We had 2 lazy kids and 2 small dogs with us so we felt the 2 mile loop was more than enough. I snapped a photo of the map and immediately took note of the intersections and where we needed to turn to stay on the 2 mile loop and not get stuck on the 4mile one with the sunset looming. There were tons of other large intersecting paths that were NOT on the map at all and we had no idea if we were going the right way or if we were on the larger loop. There were path markers, but they only indicated the type of path not which loop we were on, the markers were on paths in both directions. This made the walk intensely stressful for everyone. Eventually we pulled up our navigation app and made sure we were headed back towards the parking vs deeper in the woods. UPDATE THE DAMNED MAP or add some directional markers!

What q beautiful, quiet hike. Two miles to a tranquil creek where you can sit and enjoy nature. Beautiful place.

A couple of well-marked trails with several shortcuts throughout. Trails are mostly grass and sand with some shade. It was early morning when I witnessed a gorgeous sunrise and one of the most beautiful deer sightings I've ever been blessed with. This park is dog friendly.

Beautiful trail and an easy walk for your dog. The creek is peaceful and serene as well.

Love this trail. If you didn't know it was here, you'd never find it from the road. Can't wait to come back. The trail was very well maintained, especially post-Milton compared to a lot of the other local trails. It's mostly exposed, so bring lots of water if you go in the summer or mid day. Recommend hitting the trail early morning for cooler weather and shade.

Very nice quiet trail! I've been here a few times now and the only sketchy things here are some wild hog tracks and getting off of the main highway on to the road to the preserve. I love the creek and the trails are very well kept! It is quite sunny in some sections so I highly recommend some sun screen and a sun hat :)

Beautiful and scenic walking trail. It’s very quiet and peaceful, with a creek greeting you towards the end of the hike. The trail is well maintained and marked.
